ICS-400 is a 2-day course from which students will understand how NIMS components support the management of an expanding incident. This course expands upon information covered in IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, IS 800 and ICS 300.  The course addresses area command and staff issues along with the planning, logistical, and fiscal considerations associated with complex incident management and inter-agency coordination. All students MUST have a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID).  To register for a FEMA SID, go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register. Mandatory Prerequisites:
  • IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command
  • IS-200 ICS for Single Resources & Initial Action Incidents
  • IS-700 An Introduction to National Incident Management System (ICS)
  • IS-800 National Response Network, An Introduction
