The Metropolitan Emergency Services Board (MESB) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines standards for designers and developers to make web content accessible for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The MESB website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. The MESB makes every effort to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The content under the control of the MESB is conformant. Occasionally, the MESB must post, or include in meeting packets, content created by outside agencies which is non-conformant.
This site has the ADA Toolbar installed located at the bottom right of your screen.
You can create an ONLINE ADA account to save preferences, or use your own if you have already created an ONLINE ADA account.
The MESB EMS welcomes feedback on the accessibility of the MESB EMS website. Please let us know if you encounter any accessibility barriers:
